Since 2012, we have saved nearly 10,000 animals from our City’s Animal Control in an effort to create a No Kill Community.  We have pioneered many programs that are focused on animals most at risk for euthanasia at our City’s Animal Control. Those programs include our For Love of Mommies, Tiny Paws, Demodex Rehab, Barn Cat, Have A Heart, Parvo Puppy Unit, Ringworm Ward, and Medical Fund.  Columbus, GA was declared a No Kill Community in September 2017. Even with this achievement, we must continue to fight daily to not only maintain it, but lower the kill rate even more. We depend solely on the donations from our supporters in the community. We are not recipients of any funding from corporate sponsors in the area. We need your help to continue our fight to save the animals in our community.

On November 28th, we have the opportunity to give back to them. #GivingTuesday is a day dedicated to giving back to and supporting those who give so much to us, and we hope you’ll consider giving to Animal Ark’s animals. Mark your calendars and give back to Columbus’ animals by offering your heart and home to a pet in need of foster, giving a forever home to one of our adoptable pets, or making a donation below to help us maintain a No Kill Community and continue to save the lives of those who need us the most.
